Sri Mahalasa Shikshana Samithi ®, Mangaluru, was established in the year 1978, under the leadership and guidance of Secretary Sri A. S. Chandrakeerthi Jain and Director Sri Babu Rao. The Mahalasa College of Visual Art provides graduation courses in the field of Visual Art. It is also affiliated to the Kannada University at Hampi. It offers a full-time 4 year Bachelors of Visual Arts (BVA) course in Painting and Applied Art.
